We have two rooms which can be hired for meetings,
exhibitions or presentations.
Please note that we do not currently provide facilities for video-conferencing. If video-conferencing facilities are required they are available at Orkney College.
The MacGillivray Room is a large and comfortable
room with adjoining kitchen facilities, while the Carnegie Room
is more suitable for smaller groups. We also have a range of presentation and

The meeting room facilities at the Warehouse Buildings in Stromness are managed by OIC Customer Services so if you have any questions regarding availability of these rooms please contact email@example.com. There are three rooms for hire; the John Rae Room, the Marjory Corrigall Room and the Archie Bevan Room. All three rooms have access to kitchen facilities.

Please note that none of our meeting rooms are available
for hire on Sundays, public holidays or outwith library opening hours.
£23.96 + VAT per 3 hour session
£41.37 + VAT per day for exhibitions
£12.58 + VAT per 3 hour session
Digital projector, laptop and screen: £10.00 per day
Television, VCR and DVD combination: £10.00
Flip chart stand, paper and pens: £4.00 per day
Overhead Projector: £4.00 per day
Display boards: £10.00 set charge for use outwith the building
