Meeting rooms

 

We have two rooms which can be hired for meetings, exhibitions or presentations.

 

 

Kirkwall

The MacGillivray Room is a large and comfortable room with kitchen facilities, while the Carnegie Room will suit smaller groups. We also have a range of presentation and display equipment available for hire.

 

Stromness

Stromness Library Exhibition Room can be hired for meetings or exhibitions.

Cost of room and equipment hire

 

Please note that none of our rooms are available for hire on Sundays or public holidays

£21.00 + VAT per 3 hour session

£37.00 + VAT per day for exhibitions

Unavailable for hire outside library opening hours

 

Carnegie Room

£11.00 + VAT per 3 hour session

Unavailable for hire outside library opening hours

 

Stromness Library Exhibition/Meeting Room

£10.00 + VAT per session, maximum 3 hours

£15.00 + VAT per day for exhibitions, maximum 7 hours

 

Equipment hire

Digital projector and screen: £6.00 per day

Television, VCR and DVD combination: £6.00 per day

Flip chart: £2.50 per day

Overhead Projector: £2.50 per day

Display boards: £6.00 set charge for use outwith the building
