All other events are listed below.Other forthcoming events are: 24th April - 3rd December 2017Read the Past - Imagine the FutureThis seven month Scottish national reading promotion was launched in April at Orkney Library & Archive by Scottish crime author Lin Anderson to coincide with the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology. The ongoing promotion will include a wide range of fiction and non-fiction that celebrates Scotland's rich heritage, history and culture of writing and reading. Library users can also enter a competition to win a £50 book token by submitting a book review, either by filling in a postcard in the library or on Twitter using the hashtag #ReadThePast17.25 November 2017Saturday Book Club - KirkwallSaturday Book Club is our regular reading group which reads a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction. The group meets in the Carnegie Room at 2.30pm.
